What is included in my balloon ride?
The Balloon Flight will last approximately 45 to 60 minutes, (duration, distance and direction are determined by weather and landing areas and cannot be guaranteed) your memories of it will last forever! You will watch with amazement as the balloon is inflated to its majestic size. The effortless “liftoff” is always exciting as you embark on a unique journey. The gentle breezes will determine your destination. Upon landing you will join in a traditional celebration and be returned to the launch site.
What do I wear?
Be dressed for activities outdoors for the season. We suggest a hat, casual clothing, pants, and closed-toe low heel shoes. (Skirts/ Dresses not recommended, High heels not permitted.)
When do the balloons fly?
We fly seven days a week, weather permitting. We fly year round weather permmmitting. We meet at sunrise for Morning flights and 2 - 2 1/2 hours before sunset. These are the best possible times for a balloon flight because the winds are gentle and weather is more favorable. Exact meeting time varies, depending upon the time of year, please be sure to get your meeting time and meeting location.
How do I book my balloon flight?
Call our office at 419-677-8400 or visit us on www.venturesaloft.com to Purchase or Book your flight. Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of purchase per person can be made by mail, by phone or with your Discover Card, Visa, MasterCard or American Express on our purchase flight page. Any balance of flight is due prior to flight. To schedule within a 72 hour period of requested flight time please check avaialbility on calendar, and verify by calling our office. The calendar availability changes daily and this way we can give you the most up to date availability. ALL flights are shared passenger flights, up to 6 passengers can take flight. If you wish to have an exclusive flight, additional fees apply call for availability.
All flight reservations require payment in full prior to flight by means of Credit Card Online or CASH. Call to confirm availability for cash flights. CASH is due upon arrival along with "Flight Waiver" for all passengers.
How do I purchase a gift certificate?
Gift "Flight Vouchers" are purchased in full. Once purchased, we guarantee your airfare for a period designated on your flight certificate, a copy of the certificate voucher number is sent to the email provided and to person sending to. Payment methods can be made via Discover Card, Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Once the person has received a gift voucher they can redeem by visiting our "Book Now" and page follow through all necessary steps, when indicated enter the gift voucher number under the subtotal any balance will be due via payment method stated above before booking is confirmed.
Occasionally, inclement weather forces us to postpone or reschedule your flight, you may reschedule for next available date at that time or choose for next available.
We require 72 hours notice prior to your flight to cancel your flight with the option to reschedule at a later date. Less than 72 hours notice will be charged a $50 rescheduling fee. Not showing up for a flight on the scheduled day results in ALL forfeited airfares and deposits. The flight is considered flown. Additional charges will apply to reschedule. Should the weather leave us all with our feet on the ground, there is no fee to reschedule the flight.
